Information technology synthesizes the elements like computers. Software and Services with concentration on how the organization can best meet its goals. Increasingly the IT department is the hub of any company and companies expect IT managers to accomplish the variety of tasks with limited resources. This course is classified under the core technology in which the student will acquire the basic concept of programming, principles and procedure of computer operation so that he will be in a position to design the software and program according to the requirements of any field.

It gives knowledge of publishing, printing, communicating, analyzing and computing the information in a presentable manner. It describes the operation of the hardware circuits and its response to various software instructions. It also describes the role of operating systems. It speeds up the calculations and data operations. It minimizes human error, it can store large amount of data which can be quickly accessed.

This course enables the students to design the user interface software of which there is an increasing demand in society and industry.

A person can work with any software establishment as programmer and designer. The knowledge and skill obtained by the student will be helpful in personal development, social development and also to develop his supervisory, decision making, planning and scheduling skills.
